For running back Jaidyn Anderson, success is measured by the play of the men in front of him.
“If I do well, it’s because of my line,” Anderson said. “They’re the ones doing the hard work in the trenches. Everything I do comes from them and my fullback.”
Head coach Kirk Kennedy said Anderson will be the centerpiece of the Cougars’ I-formation offense. “The offense is going to run through him,” Kennedy said. “He’s going to carry the load.”
Anderson said the responsibility is part of being a leader. “It’s about not letting your teammates down,” he said. “That’s been our bond since we were kids.”
