Brady Flick collected four hits in five at-bats as the Kankakee Valley Kougars defeated Momence 20-0 on Wednesday at Kankakee Valley.

The Kankakee Valley Kougars jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the bottom of the first inning when Rex Wilkins singled down the left-field line and Jeremiah Fitzpatrick tripled to center field. They then erupted for 12 runs in the second inning on nine hits and two walks, with RBI singles from Fitzpatrick (twice), Declan Murr, Lucas Parker, Carlos Cruz and Wilkins, plus a walk to Fitzpatrick, an error and another single by Flick. The Kougars added three more runs in the third on an error, singles by Flick, Will Chestnut and Keaton Wagner, a hit-by-pitch to Owen Uylaki and a groundout by Cruz.
Camden Murray earned the win, tossing a five-inning complete-game shutout with no hits allowed, five strikeouts and two walks. Daulton Mitchell took the loss for Momence, surrendering six hits and six runs in one inning.
The Kankakee Valley Kougars piled up 18 hits, with Fitzpatrick and Zach Mikash joining Flick for multiple-hit games. The hosts swiped four bases, turned one double play and played error-free defense, while Flick handled five chances in the field. Momence was held hitless and managed just 14 batters in the mercy-rule victory.
