Kankakee Valley girls basketball earned a 61–40 non-conference road victory over Griffith.
The game took place on January 24 at Griffith High School, where the Kougars steadily increased their lead each quarter and maintained control throughout. Sophomore Camry Krueger led the team with 19 points and six rebounds, demonstrating effective shooting from both the field and the free-throw line. Junior Olivia Adams contributed a double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds, while sophomore Jenna Walker added 12 points.
According to the game summary, junior Mallorie Rose scored 10 points and grabbed eight rebounds. The Kougars also benefited from contributions by sophomore M. Dresbaugh, sophomore L. Van Meter, senior Reese Van Meter, and freshman Maci Capps. They outscored Griffith in every quarter and limited the Panthers to single-digit scores in both the third and fourth periods.
