Kankakee Valley’s girls varsity soccer team triumphed over Lowell with a 3-1 victory on September 9, enhancing its record to 6-3 and marking its fourth consecutive home win.
The Red Devils of Lowell, who had previously defeated Kankakee Valley by the same scoreline in their earlier 2024 encounter, saw their record fall to 1-4-1 following this loss. The rematch took place at Kankakee Valley High School, where the Kougars demonstrated resilience and improved execution compared to last season’s defeat.
The contest marked a reversal from last year’s outcome when Lowell defeated Kankakee Valley with a 3-1 scoreline. This time, the Kougars turned the tables to strengthen their position in the conference standings and show consistency in front of their home supporters.
Valley has maintained steady form on its home pitch, extending its winning streak to four games.
