Kankakee Valley demonstrated a comprehensive offensive strategy on Tuesday, September 30, securing a 10-1 victory over Andrean in the Northwest Crossroads Conference girls’ soccer match.
The Kougars established a commanding presence in the first half, achieving a 5-0 lead through precise passing and consistent finishing. They maintained their momentum post-halftime, adding five more goals to clinch the away win.
Junior forward C. Przybylski spearheaded the effort with three goals and three assists, delivering an impressive all-around performance. Senior Cheyenne Flatt contributed two goals, while senior Ava Barlog matched this with two goals and two assists. Sophomore Samantha Urban added two goals, and junior McKayla Nuss scored one to complete the Kougars’ tally.
Despite facing one of the conference’s leading teams, Andrean exhibited resilience. The Fighting 59ers continued to press in the second half and were rewarded with a goal, providing their home supporters a moment of celebration and showcasing their competitive spirit.
