Kankakee Valley emerged victorious over Hobart with a 3–1 win on Thursday night, securing the conference matchup with set scores of 22–25, 25–14, 25–17, and 25–20.
The match was held on October 9, 2025, at Kankakee Valley High School in Wheatfield, Indiana. The Kougars overcame an initial setback in the first set to dominate the subsequent sets in front of their home supporters.
According to the game statistics, sophomore Avery Diener led the offensive effort with 23 kills and a .528 hitting percentage. Sophomore Addison Koselke contributed significantly with 16 kills on a .355 hitting percentage. Senior Aubrey Stowers added nine kills and secured 11 service points. Additionally, senior setter G. Diener provided a remarkable performance with 50 assists to drive the team’s attack. On defense, senior E.
