Mallorie Rose continued her steady rise for Kankakee Valley, turning in a strong junior campaign while building on two previous varsity seasons.
Rose competed for Kankakee Valley during the 2025-26 season in Wheatfield, Indiana, appearing in 22 varsity games as a junior after contributing as both a freshman and sophomore. The 5-foot-8 forward/guard averaged 9.1 points and 6.2 rebounds per game this season, marking career-best scoring numbers while remaining a consistent presence on the glass. She also added 3.2 assists and 2.1 steals per contest, showcasing her ability to impact multiple areas of the game. Rose’s production has increased each season, climbing from 5.4 points per game as a freshman to 8.6 as a sophomore before surpassing nine points per game as a junior, according to Kankakee Valley High School.
Her rebounding and defensive activity have remained steady throughout her career, helping anchor the lineup on both ends of the floor. Over 69 varsity games, Rose has averaged 7.6 points, 5.4 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game… With one season remaining, Rose enters her senior year as an experienced multi-year contributor, positioning herself to take on an even larger role for the Kougars, according to Kankakee Valley High School.
Rose’s development reflects consistent improvement across key statistical categories over three seasons with the team.
With one year left in her high school career, Rose is expected to continue contributing significantly for Kankakee Valley.
